In 2003 SLOMAN NEPTUN has commenced to futher diversify its tanker acivities by placing an order fpr two double hull Product Oil Tankers with Chinese yard Dalian Shipbuilding Industry, Dalian. the new buildings are delivered in 2006.

For both tankers a long term employment with a major European tanker operator has been arranged.

In 2007 three IMO II Chemical-/Product Tankers were ordered with Jiangzhou Union Shipbuilding, Jiangzhou, China for delivery in 2012.

The new buildings will be employed in a pool or in longterm timecharter.
